Note that Joseph's statement does not imply that temple ordinances are for the next life, "after you have departed this live," as Brigham Young asserts. In my opinion, it is clear as can be -- if you listen to what is being taught -- the endowment is for use here in this life -- to secure the fulness of blessings pertaining to the Church of the First Born. It's all about this life -- "to come up" and abide the presence of Angles, etc. Your articles are books are always informative. Thank you.
